Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Handling Operations (HOM) to establish, lead and manage all operational functions, including Passenger Services, Ramp Handling, GSE Operations and Maintenance, and Cleaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and ensure all ground handling operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards (IATA, ISAGO, local aviation laws).
• Supervise and coordinate training programs for operational staff.
• Maintain quality assurance and customer service excellence across all departments.
• Oversee GSE maintenance and cleaning operations.
• Lead a team of functional managers and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
• Maintain accurate and compliant operational and customer service records.
• Uphold ethical standards in operational and service delivery.
• Drive innovation and operational efficiency within the handling ecosystem.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory), highly preferable in aviation management;
• 3–5 years of managerial experience (ideally in airport or operations-heavy environments)
• Proven ability to lead large and diverse teams
• Fluency in English, Kazakh, and Russian
• Familiarity with airport/airline ground operations preferred
