Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct checks of counterparties/third parties for DD and c sanctions risks.
  • Conduct export control checks of goods to be purchased.
  • Review contracts for the purchase of goods works and services for assessment of compliance risks.
  •  Provide advice to management and colleagues on compliance issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher professional education in the field of jurisprudence.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Previous professional experience: at least 6 years as a lawyer and/or compliance officer.
  •  Strong knowledge of Kazakhstani legislation and at least one year work experience with international sanctions legislation (UK, EU, US and UN sanctions lists).
  •  Knowledge of Russian and English languages sufficient for drafting memoranda in Russian and English languages.
