Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct checks of counterparties/third parties for sanctions risks.
• Conduct export control checks of goods to be purchased.
• Perform security checks of counterparties/third parties.
• Review contracts for the purchase of goods works and services for assessment of compliance risks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher professional education in the field of jurisprudence.
• Previous professional experience: at least 2 years as a lawyer and/or compliance officer.
• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstani legislation and skills in working with international sanctions legislation (UK, EU, US and UN sanctions lists).
• Knowledge of Russian and English languages sufficient for drafting memoranda in Russian and English languages.
• Strong analytical skills.
