Description


Main responsibilities:

         To monitor, coordinate and support the development of Unauthorized Substances (further - US) program in Air Astana,

         To manage alcohol and drug checks of Safety Sensitive Aviation Activity staff and ensure clear and unbiased results interpretation,

         To prepare and coordinate the approval of US test schedule on a monthly basis,

         To provide and monitor monthly statistics of US checks, identify trends and develop action plan to ensure continuous improvement of the program,

         To compile Month report on US testing and submit to CAC,

         To maintain US supplies inventory, to ensure timely replenishment  (breathalyzers mouthpieces, drug test kits, forms, etc) and arrange timely calibration of devices,

         To manage timely procurement procedures of US supplies and other program related contracts and partnerships,

         To conduct US trainings for new commission members and organize US awareness trainings for management and other employees.

 

Requirements:

         Bachelor degree in medicine (specializing in drugs & alcohol abuse or equivalent) and/or at least 2 years’ experience working in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse related field.

         Practical experience in narcology or toxicology; alcohol and drugs test conduction.

         Knowledge of Russian, Kazakh and preferably English (intermediate) languages.

         Microsoft Office programs competence.

         Skills: ability to lead programme improvements. Carry out delegated tasks timely and properly; ability to remain trustworthy, keep interests of the Company and protect confidential information; high level of responsibility; strong communication skills; high level of stress resistance, emotional self-control and confidence; ability to work in stressful conditions and strict time limits.
