Description

Main responsibilities:

•         To monitor, coordinate and support the development of Unauthorized Substances (further - US) program in Air Astana,

•         To manage alcohol and drug checks of Safety Sensitive Aviation Activity staff and ensure clear and unbiased results interpretation,

•         To prepare and coordinate the approval of US test schedule on a monthly basis,

•         To provide and monitor monthly statistics of US checks, identify trends and develop action plan to ensure continuous improvement of the program,

•         To compile Month report on US testing and submit to CAC,

•         To maintain US supplies inventory, to ensure timely replenishment  (breathalyzers mouthpieces, drug test kits, forms, etc) and arrange timely calibration of devices,

•         To manage timely procurement procedures of US supplies and other program related contracts and partnerships,

•         To conduct US trainings for new commission members and organize US awareness trainings for management and other employees.

Requirements:

•         Bachelor degree in medicine (specializing in drugs & alcohol abuse or equivalent) and/or at least 2 years’ experience working in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse related field.

•         Practical experience in narcology or toxicology; alcohol and drugs test conduction.

•         Knowledge of Russian, Kazakh and preferably English (intermediate) languages.

•         Microsoft Office programs competence.

•         Skills: ability to lead programme improvements. Carry out delegated tasks timely and properly; ability to remain trustworthy, keep interests of the Company and protect confidential information; high level of responsibility; strong communication skills; high level of stress resistance, emotional self-control and confidence; ability to work in stressful conditions and strict time limits.
