RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In this role you will create, plan, implement and lead the commercial strategy for the airline in Japan.
  • You will develop influential B2B commercial relationships with TMC, OTA, tour operators, consolidators, aggregators and retail agents.   You will be expected to develop and establish good teamwork with our appointed GSA.
  • You will engage with key corporate and governmental stakeholders to develop mutually beneficial travel programs.   Again, you will be expected to develop and establish good teamwork with our appointed Filing Agent.
  • Supported by a compelling marketing approach, you will position the airlines direct digital channel at the forefront of consumer search.
  • As the country lead, you will also establish revenue, cost, manpower and capex budgets for the station.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The right to live and work in Japan.
  • An existing commercial leader within the aviation sector, with a minimum of 7 years relevant industry/airline experience.
  • Based on a solid further education qualification, you will demonstrate an entrepreneurial and diligent approach to problem solving.
  • You will be confident in challenging status-quo solutions and ultimately be results driven.
  • You will understand what it means to lead and influence, as well as navigate effectively through complex and multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • In doing so, you will reflect the companies values of Hospitality, Efficiency, Activeness, Reliability and Trustworthiness (HEART).
