Air Astana JSC is looking for the 4th year students for a six-month internship at the Compliance and Sustainability Department. As an intern, you will work in the personal data protection area, helping to solve challenging business cases from the development of policies and procedures for provision of the personal data protection to monitoring over compliance of Air Astana JSC processes with the international data privacy requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Participation in the development of internal documents in the field of personal data protection;
• Participation in the personal data processing risks assessment;
• Participation in the monitoring over information security measures to ensure the protection of personal data;
• Participation in monitoring over compliance with the developed personal data processing requirements;

Participation in monitoring of changes in personal data protection international legislation in order to timely implement the necessary practices in the Company;

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4th-year student of any specialty with an average grade of at least GPA 3.5;
• Proficiency in spoken and written Russian and English;
• Knowledge of the Kazakh language will be an advantage;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Strong knowledge of PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Ability to structure your thoughts orally and in writing;
• Communication skills and teamwork skills;
• Ability to work in a multitasking environment;
• Presentation skills (ability to make presentations to an audience of >20 people);
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from senior colleagues;
• Any relevant personal data protection experience would be a plus but not required.
