Air Astana JSC is looking for the 4th year students for a six-month internship at the Compliance and Sustainability Department. As an intern, you will work in the Sustainability area, helping to solve challenging business cases from the implementation of the ESG strategy to raising employee awareness of ESG and promoting a sustainable culture in the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Analysis of the aviation industry in part of ESG and sustainable development;
• Conducting research on ESG and sustainability initiatives, ESG rating and SAF (sustainable aviation fuel);
• Generation of ideas in response to the challenges facing the Company in terms of reducing the carbon footprint;
• Preparation of material to raise awareness of the Company's employees about ESG and sustainable development;
• Participation in the development and implementation of initiatives in the field of ESG and sustainable development;
• Conducting presentations (online and in the classroom) for new employees of the Company in the area of sustainable development

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4th-year student of any specialty;
• GPA at least 3.5;
• Language skills: Russian fluently orally/written, English – Upper Intermediate (Oral, written), Kazakh – desirable;
• Analytical thinking;
• Confident PC user: MS Office, Analytics tools – desirable;
• Communication and teamwork skills.
