Description

We are looking for a Director of IT - Infrastructure, Cloud, and IT Security to spearhead our IT infrastructure, drive our cloud migration initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of IT and information security. This strategic role involves overseeing our data centers, disaster recovery sites, network, and storage solutions, and leading the transition to cloud-based technologies while safeguarding our systems and data against emerging threats.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the management and evolution of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including data centers, disaster recovery sites, network, storage, and backup software, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Strategize and execute cloud migration projects, guiding the transition from traditional infrastructures to scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions across leading public cloud platforms.
• Develop and implement comprehensive IT and information security strategies, encompassing key technologies, products, and best practices to protect the organization against cyber threats.
• Maintain and enhance IT security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and security domains.
• Ensure the IT infrastructure and security teams are equipped with the necessary skills and tools to support the organization’s objectives and growth.
• Hold responsibility for vendor and technology partner management, negotiating contracts that align with the organization's strategic goals and budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructures, including data centers, disaster recovery sites, networks, storage, and backup solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving cloud migration initiatives and experience with at least one leading public cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Extensive background in managing IT and Information Security for large organizations, with a deep understanding of key security technologies, products, and policies.
• Required security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, showcasing a strong foundation in IT security principles and practices.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security management, with a proven track record of leading teams and projects to successful outcomes.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields required; a postgraduate degree in IT or management is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
