Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To coordinate the Program on Prevention of Use of Unauthorized Substances in Air Astana.
• To conduct pre-employment, random and on suspicion tests on unauthorized substances use among the Company’s employees in accordance with the monthly plan.
• To prepare periodical reports on unauthorized substances tests conducted.
• To conduct unauthorized substances training to the various target groups of employees.
• To conduct research on the international best practice related to the prevention of use of unauthorized substances in aviation workplace and develop the Unauthorized Substances program in Air Astana accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher or medium medical education. Certificate on alcohol and drug testing is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse (alcohol, drugs) related field. Practical experience in narcology or toxicology; alcohol and drugs test conduction.
• Background in communication with government Narcology Centres and other government bodies in the field.
• Availability for duty trips in Kazakhstan and abroad.
• Knowledge of Russian, Kazakh and English languages (intermediate level is preferred).
• Skills in software MS Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point).
• Core soft skills: professionalism and integrity, compliance with Company standards and keeping interests of the Company, work ethics, performance of tasks in a timely manner, stress resistance, conflict resolution skills, ability to work and make decisions independently.
