Description
Responsibilities:
∙ leading the legal team;
∙ legal support of contracts, agreements and projects of the Company
∙ Identifying, managing and mitigating against legal risk
∙ organization of legal analysis of transactions involving the Company for compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, legal expertise of proposed amendments and/or additions to existing agreements;
∙ supervising of pre-trial settlement of disputes of the Company, organizing the participation of the Company’s employees on the courts (civil, administrative, within the framework of arbitration and arbitration proceedings), supervising the process of enforcement proceedings, ensuring the preparation of documents for resolving disputes (claims, objections, lawsuits, appeals, complaints etc.), organization of legal assistance in internal investigations, external audits by state authorities, protection of the interests of the Company in relations with contractors, state authorities and third parties;
∙ review and analyze FAA, EASA, and international equivalent regulations to support business requirements.
∙ participation in negotiations on projects and contracts of the Company;
∙ organization and implementation of legal examination of documents (contracts, agreements and other documents);
∙ assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help develop and enhance departmental and sector processes, policies, and procedures related to contract management and administration functions.
∙ drafting legal input into business proposals, review business transaction documentation and review/draft contracts and agreements
∙ implementation of other functions, the performance of which is provided for by internal documents and acts of the employer, within the competence of the department.
∙ leading the Legal Team including providing guidance, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, career development discussions and day to day management duties
Requirements:
∙ minimum 7 years in experience as a lawyer, at least 3 years of management experience;
∙ effective change agent; can lead change, think out of the box, and make new ideas happen.
∙ persistent drive for results using program management, risk management and problem solving skills in a cross-functional team environment.
∙ demonstrated ability to think creatively, anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop and implement vision.
∙ the ability to work with the legal bases "Paragraph", "Law" and review changes in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the ability to work with e-gov, e-license bases;
∙ knowledge of the basics of civil, tax, civil procedure, labor, administrative legislation;
∙ successful practice of conducting claim work.
