Cargo Reservations Executive

Principal functions on the job

• To accept telephone calls and requests from cargo sales agents and Airline staff/users of the system with regards to the system of reservations and cargo tracking.

• To provide the most complete consultation on the arising issues within one’s responsibilities.

Main job duties

• To perform timely information exchange between the parties of the cargo shipment process with regards to the system of reservations and cargo tracking.

• To update the settings and data base in the system in a timely and accurate manner according to the instructions of the immediate chief.

•  To notify timely cargo sales agents/system users and provide them with updated user instructions in case of the introduction of new requirements on the work of the system of reservations and cargo tracking.

•  To accept complaints from cargo sales agents and Airline staff/users of the system with regards to the work of the system of reservations and tracking of Airline cargo, analyze arising issues and form requests to the system provider when needed in order to find out the way to solve the arising issues and enter correct data into the system.

Education sufficient to perform on the job

Vocational institutions (Paraprofessionals). Education in the Civil Aviation industry is welcome.

Knowledge necessary to perform on the job

• Business correspondence skills, telecommunication skills;

• Computers - advanced user (Windows, MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,

  Outlook;

• Excel for the industrial calculation;

• Electronic table handling;

• Statistical data processing;

• The job holder must have experience in cargo sales across global markets, recognizing the different approaches to cargo sales adopted globally;

English: Intermediate

Kazakh: Average

Russian: Fluent
