Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and prepare weight and balance calculations for all aircraft.
- Monitor and update aircraft takeoff and landing characteristics.
- Regularly monitor the updates of the navigation databases:
˗ Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (hereinafter EGPWS) on a regular basis.
˗ AIRAC cycle (28 days), compare the navigation database, Lido charts and the calculation of the flight plan program with the current collection of aeronautical information.
˗ Airport obstacle database for the entire fleet (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer)
- Check and analyze the performance of all aircraft for wear on a regular basis.
- Provide calculations for the routes (maximum cargo, burned fuel, flight time, distance, flight charges) required to consider new directions;
- Control the process of preparing all necessary procedures and documents for the arrival of a new aircraft.
- Develop and publish alternate routes in the event of new major routes over mountainous terrain.
- Control and analyze all data entered into the flight plan calculation program.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Publishing Services regarding the implementation of Operational Engineering Bulletins and aircraft configuration changes and equipment upgrades.
- Cooperate with flight operations regarding changes to navigation databases, route studies and inquiries for Lido products.
- Interact with technical pilots regarding aircraft performance, runway analyzes and any navigation database issues.
- Inform ground operations personnel of changes in weight and load schedule balance in the aircraft cargo handling manual for each aircraft.
- Monitor data on aerodrome characteristics received from airport representatives.
- If necessary, send information requests to aircraft manufacturers regarding specific issues related to aircraft performance and alignment.
- Inform technical librarians of changes in aircraft weights and performance documents so that they update the relevant pages and change revision numbers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education (preferred): Technical, Engineering, Aviation, Communications and Telecommunications
- Knowledge of languages: English (Upper Intermediate, Advanced), Russian (fluent). Kazakh (fluency is encouraged)
- Experience in the aviation industry (engineering, flight and dispatching. As well as manufacturing specialties) will be a significant advantage in the selection of candidates.
