Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organization and supervision of the company’s server and network infrastructure administration.
  • Resource planning, task allocation, and performance control.
  • Maintenance of a stable, secure, and manageable IT infrastructure.
  • Commissioning and configuration of physical and virtual servers.
  • Control over the relevance and licensing of system software.
  • Optimization of performance and ensuring uninterrupted service operation.
  • Infrastructure monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution.
  • Analysis of failure causes and implementation of measures to improve fault tolerance.
  • Ensuring continuity of the company’s key business processes.
  • Collaboration with the Information Security department on IT asset protection.
  • Cooperation with hardware, software, and support service providers.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation and control of contractual obligations.
  • Participation in IT infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Implementation of new technologies and improvement of system administration efficiency.
  • Initiation and execution of IT system architecture enhancements.
  • Making technically and business-justified decisions.
  • Coordination of cross-functional teams (IT, security, and operations).
  • Analytical thinking, a systematic approach, and the ability to set priorities and manage risks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Higher, in the field of IT infrastructure.
  • Work experience: At least 3 years in the relevant field.
  • Languages: Russian – fluent, English – Intermediate.
  • Strong knowledge of AID, SCSI, SAS, and TCP/IP architectures and technologies.
  • Practical experience with server equipment (HP, DELL, IBM, Fujitsu).
  • Administration of Microsoft Windows Server OS (including Active Directory, Exchange, WSUS, etc.).
  • Experience with data backup and recovery systems (Symantec Backup Exec or equivalents).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP systems.
  • Systems thinking and analytical skills: ability to assess risks, make technically sound decisions, and coordinate interactions between departments (IT, security, operations).
  • Strong managerial and analytical competencies: ability to set priorities, make decisions under uncertainty, and effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational maturity and communication: ability to structure tasks, foster collaboration between teams, and make decisions ensuring infrastructure stability and colleagues’ trust.
  • Professionalism, accuracy, responsibility, friendliness, and readiness to work in a dynamic technological environment.
