Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To organize the contract expertise provision to all Airline representatives.
• To conduct legal expertise of complex and final review of all projects of agreements, orders, instructions, regulations and other documents concerning Airline business and prepared by “Air Astana” JSC as well as participation in their preparation.
• To provide a legal support to statements, letters on complex cases and issues from legal entities and individuals which are received by the legal department and prepare appropriate conclusion.
• To analyze and summarize the legal work, and make proposals to immediate leader on improvements in the legal department. To improve work of the supervised group.
• To analyze legal risks, and assess the effectiveness of the decisions and proposals of direct subordinates and other departments of the Airline, addressed for the examination.
• To cooperate with other departments on improving the contractual work and improve legal technic of contract preparation.
• To participate in inspections of “Air Astana” JSC, to execute materials and documents, to research acts executed while inspections and provide legal opinions on them, to execute responses and objections.
• To review issues of aviation international conventions law enforcement regarding defined cases.
• Take all necessary measures of pre-trial settlement of disputes (claims, applications) through meetings, negotiations, providing the necessary written and oral explanations, including, but not limited to the signing of the settlement agreement, letters and other documents, as well as the use of mediation services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree legal science;
• Previous work experience +/- 7 years;
• Knowledge of Russian, Kazakh and English languages;
• Civil, procedural, labor, administrative and international law;
• Legislation and other normative and legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating the Airline activity;
• Order of performance and conclusion of all kind of agreements;
• Normative and legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating state procurement;
• Rules and regulations of work safety, accident prevention;
• Emergency Response Plan.
