Description

 

The Operations Control Center (OCC) is a unit of the company responsible for making operational decisions based on flight safety, passenger convenience, and economic efficiency.

 

The Operations Control Center is responsible for three main functions:

 

  • Monitoring the execution of the daily flight schedule
  • Adjusting the schedule in case of operational deviations from the planned schedule
  • Restoring the daily flight schedule after disruptions

 

Employment Type:

12-hour shift schedule – 4 working days (2 day shifts / 2 night shifts) – 4 days off.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the OCC Manager on Duty during disruptions and emergency situations
  • Continuously monitor flights using all available OCC tools
  • Monitor and respond to all communication channels in the OCC
  • Process requests from other departments and communicate with airline and/or airport personnel regarding necessary flight status information
  • Identify causes of delays
  • Prepare and distribute required reports
  • Monitor the daily schedule and data accuracy in the operational system (AIMS)
  • Monitor and analyze weather information
  • Send informational messages during flight delays and cancellations via notification systems and email
  • Use and monitor all software and systems utilized in the OCC
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices received from air navigation service providers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education degree
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced PC user skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Teamwork skills (team player)

  • Communication skills, ability to clearly express thoughts over the phone, and active listening skills
